Like Travis Barrett, the main character in The Boundary, I love a good mystery. I decided to set this mystery in a library because libraries are some of my favorite places in the world. The Canal Fulton Public Library in my hometown of Canal Fulton, Ohio was converted from a family home built in 1879. It’s a magical place, and I hope I’ve captured some of that same magic and history in Travis Barrett’s Blackstone Library.
